Water & Wastewater Area Sales Manager | UK Infrastructure
Area Coverage: United Kingdom - South East Focus
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for our client, a global leader and manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining systems and flow control solutions. You will be responsible for driving strategic business development initiatives and expanding market presence and influence within the UK water and wastewater infrastructure sector.
The infrastructure sales team consists of experienced commercial and technical professionals who support major projects and key accounts across the region. You will work in close collaboration with national and international sales teams, regional managers and internal business units.
What you will be doing:
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive profitable business growth within your assigned portfolio and target accounts.
· Identify major projects and engage early with water companies, engineering consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to promote Victaulic solutions across mechanical piping and infrastructure systems.
· Monitor and strengthen the connection between customers, project partners and the business to ensure long-term satisfaction and engagement.
· Utilise CRM tools and internal systems to track project participants, deadlines and opportunities, and to identify areas for growth and action.
Who you are:
You are a technically driven, outgoing and self-confident professional who thrives on developing relationships and delivering value within the water and wastewater infrastructure market. You have a strong ability to understand customer, owner and engineer needs and translate them into practical, solution-based approaches.
Required experience and skills:
· Technical knowledge through experience within mechanical piping systems, water infrastructure, or related markets.
· Established relationships with water companies, consultants, contractors or key stakeholders within the UK infrastructure market.
· Proven track record in business development, sales or account management within complex, project-based environments.
· Experience identifying major projects and engaging early with planning offices, consultants and key decision makers.
· Willingness to travel as required within the UK infrastructure market.
