Paying up to £38 an hour


Working Hours - Full time preferred (one day a week in the office, the rest from home) but would consider part time and condensed hours


Can also work from Samuelson House in Banbury or Abbey Centre in Abingdon.

Driving licence essential as County wide visits.

Can claim mileage from office base to visits.

Supporting annual reviews such as bed leavers, bed raising, hoists, manual handling.

2 full time candidates required.

The Occupational Therapist in the Review Team is responsible for conducting regular reviews of moving and handling practices and equipment, for individuals where this support is necessary to manage risk. The role also includes review of needs to ensure proportionate care provision & work within the requirements of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983 and any other relevant legislation, guidance and codes of practice, providing personalised information and advice to individuals, families and their carers This role is distinct from Locality Team Occupational therapy as it is dedicated exclusively to shortterm interventions that enable prompt reviews and effective risk management. If longer term input is required or there are new needs that require urgent support and/or reassessment, the case will be referred on to the Locality Team. Safeguarding concerns are not addressed by this team.


Responsibilities include:

• Undertaking timely and proportionate assessments, reviews and professional interventions and other duties relating to individuals, families and carers.

• Using strength-based approaches to ensure suitable support is in place to meet the persons changing needs.

• Supporting plans are reflective of the persons needs and outcomes by providing a clear breakdown of how these are being met, regardless of determination of eligibility.

• Identifying and making necessary arrangements where an individual would benefit from services which will improve and maintain independence, in particular reablement services and equipment including:

• Assessing for and providing equipment including Assistive Technology to meet needs and reduce risk
