Senior Structural Engineer

Job description

A well established, design-led structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Structural Engineer as part of its continued growth in the UK.

The role:

• Lead structural design on a range of building projects from concept through to construction
• Take technical and commercial ownership of projects, ensuring quality and buildable solutions
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors and other consultants
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and contribute to business relationships
• Review designs and mentor junior engineers, supporting their technical development

About you:

• Must be a Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer (IStructE or ICE)
• Strong UK consultancy experience delivering building structures
• Confident designing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber to UK codes
• Comfortable using structural analysis and design software
• Proactive, communicative and capable of managing multiple projects
