Electrical Design Engineer

T2M Resourcing are working with an electrical engineering services and contracting business that completes HV (high voltage) and LV (low voltage) full life cycle projects for customers across the utilities, industrial, and energy sector.

Duties of an Electrical Design Engineer:

• Design and specification development for HV and LV systems.
• Modelling of electrical systems such as loads, fault levels and safety requirements.
• Writing reports and presenting to internal and external engineering teams.
• Provide supporting technical documents along side electrical designs.
• Working with clients, contracts, and engineering teams on initial project scopes.

Requirements to be successful as an Electrical Design Engineer:

• Experience in electrical design of high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Working up to 33kV systems.
• A champion for electrical safety practices.
• Strong problem solving skills and foundation engineering knowledge.
• Clear electrical qualifications such as Degree or HND level.
• Confident using electrical CAD packages – ETAP, Power Factory, and others.
• IET membership is beneficial.

The role will be based at the Manchester office however require travel to other offices and clients sites, a UK Driving License is essential for the role.
