JOB – Graduate Mechanical Engineer

LOCATION – Birmingham

TERM- Permanent

SALARY - £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Apprenticeship/Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• A sound understanding of Engineering
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
• Hands-on technical experience through your course
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
• Organised with excellent communication and customer service skills

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:

• Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
• Dealing with customers on a technical level
• Working to budgets and project timings
• Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
• Being involved in different manufacturing processes
• Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
• Keeping track of company documentation, equipment and necessary upgrades
