Position: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Swindon

Job Type: Permanent / Fully Onsite

Our client, a technical solutions provider delivering to over 80 countries are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will look to provide general mechanical engineering support to certain company projects with a particular focus on Water and Fuel projects.

Other responsibilities include:

• As tasked, devise initial concepts, develop detailed design, design integration and validate/review mechanical systems.
• Plan, participate in and report on equipment/system integration trials.
• Deliver in accordance with defined performance criteria and stakeholder expectations.
• Produce detailed specifications and scopes of work and review/report on supplier’s submissions.

Experience or Qualifications –

• Degree level educated in Mechanical Engineering
• Experince of supporting the design and development of mechanical systems in previous projects
• Working knowledge of design software packages such as SOLIDWORKS, Inventor and PDMS
• Previous experience in Water Treatment industries or equipment is highly desirable

Candidates who currently are a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Project Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer may be suitable for this position.
