This role sits within the innovation arm of a global technology consultancy, operating like a startup inside a larger organisation. The team focuses on rapid AI prototyping, co-creation and experimentation with enterprise clients, delivering proof-of-concepts and MVPs in weeks rather than months.

You’ll work in small, cross-functional squads alongside AI Architects and consultants, building and iterating AI solutions live with client feedback before successful ideas are handed over to scale teams.

The Role

As an AI Engineer, you’ll be responsible for rapidly designing, building and iterating AI-powered PoCs and MVPs. This is a highly hands-on role focused on GenAI, agentic systems and demo-ready solutions, where speed and practical impact matter more than long-term optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI PoCs and MVPs in fast innovation cycles (2–6 weeks)

• Develop GenAI solutions using LLMs, SLMs and vision models

• Implement RAG pipelines and agentic workflows

• Build lightweight APIs using Flask or Django

• Deploy solutions using serverless and cloud-native services

• Collaborate in client workshops, demos and innovation sprints

• Experiment with emerging AI tools and frameworks

Key Details

• Salary: £70k–£85k base (flexible for strong profiles)

• Working model: Hybrid, 3 days per week in London office

• Tech stack: Python/JavaScript, GenAI (RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex), agentic frameworks, Azure/AWS
