Network Engineer

McCabe and Barton are pleased to partner with a Retail Banking client to offer this exciting role as a Network Engineer. This is a permanent role with hybrid working from a Central London office.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for all areas of the network to ensure the systems which are resilient and available to support the company’s growth.

Key Skills and Experience:

• experience delivering high quality, positive business outcomes within 2nd/3rd line support
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in configuration, security, support and management of firewalls, routing & switching, voice and video (inc a contact centre), and Load Balancers
• Experience in Cisco Routing & switching, Data Centre / WAN and LAN infrastructure, Palo Alto / Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Remote Access or VPN technology
• CNNP as a minimum and strong network automation and Dev ops knowledge
• communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Complementary IT Certifications
• Exposure to resilient production environments.
• ITIL Framework
• Knowledge of Scrum and Sprints
