Working Conditions:

Location: Chiswick Park / Stockley Park, London

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

Unsocial hours required in line with event schedules and time zones

UK and occasional international travel required


About the Role

This is a hands-on operational Health & Safety role supporting the planning and delivery of safety across live events, sporting productions and corporate environments within a global portfolio.

Reporting to the VP Corporate Global H&S, you will play a key role in implementing practical safety solutions across event planning, build, live and breakdown phases. You will work closely with event operations, production teams, venues and contractors to ensure high standards of safety are maintained while enabling world-class live experiences.

What You’ll Do

Live Events & Production Safety

  • Support the delivery of health & safety across live sporting events, productions and corporate projects
  • Assist in developing event-specific risk assessments and reviewing contractor RAMS
  • Provide on-site H&S support during event build, live operation and breakdown phases
  • Work closely with production, staging, rigging, broadcast and venue teams to ensure safe systems of work
  • Assist with contractor vetting and safety documentation review
  • Support incident management onsite and contribute to post-event reviews


Operational H&S Support

  • Support the VP Corporate Global H&S in implementing the company’s H&S strategy across business units
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating operational risks and supporting practical mitigation measures
  • Support the monitoring of H&S KPIs and performance data
  • Contribute to accident/incident investigations and trend analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Assist in ensuring offices and event locations maintain appropriate First Aid, Fire Warden and compliance arrangements
  • Participate in employee consultation on H&S matters


Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in conducting H&S training needs analysis
  • Deliver and support H&S training sessions to managers, event teams and operational staff
  • Promote a positive, proactive safety culture across live event and production environments
  • Share lessons learned and examples of good practice across the organisation


Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work collaboratively with Risk Management, Security, Facilities, HR, Legal and other Shared Services
  • Support engagement with venues, local authorities and regulatory bodies where required
  • Ensure access to competent advice and specialist expertise when necessary

You Have These:

Essential

  • 3–6 years’ experience supporting health & safety delivery within live events, sports, entertainment, broadcast or production environments
  • Experience assisting with event risk assessments and contractor/production RAMS reviews
  • Experience working onsite during event build, live and breakdown phases
  • Experience supporting accident/incident investigations
  • Confident communicator able to deliver training and engage with operational teams
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly around event schedules


Desirable

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
  • Experience within large-scale sporting or televised events
  • IOSH membership
