An established and highly regarded venue business is seeking a commercially driven Exhibition Sales Manager to join its Venue Sales team. This role is focused on optimising occupancy across a busy exhibitions calendar, maximising revenue from existing events, and driving repeat business through strategic account management.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of exhibition organiser accounts, ensuring profitable long-term partnerships while identifying opportunities to grow revenue across multiple income streams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering agreed revenue targets and KPIs through effective account management and strategic upselling
- Managing commercial relationships with exhibition organisers across all revenue streams
- Securing repeat and new business to drive account growth and maximise profitability
- Developing annual budgets per show and ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved
- Managing and optimising the exhibitions diary to ensure forward planning and commercial return
- Monitoring contractual status and reducing unsecured rental exposure
- Making commercially sound decisions aligned to broader business objectives
- Ensuring seamless handover of confirmed events to the Event Management team
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to monthly business reporting
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class client experience
You will also be expected to operate in line with company health, safety and environmental policies, contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.
About You

- Proven experience in a commercial sales or venue/events-based environment
- A strong track record of delivering revenue targets and managing key accounts
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial drivers
- A proactive, forward-thinking approach with a natural ability to spot opportunities
- High levels of motivation, resilience and drive to exceed targets
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
