Safety & Quality Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE

Location: Coventry

Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Safety & Quality Engineer to join a growing team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across the business, working closely with operational, technical, and commercial teams.

This is a hands-on role where you can make a real impact by improving processes, supporting audits, and fostering a strong culture of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality management systems and procedures
• Monitor product and process quality, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
• Investigate quality issues, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
• Support audits and compliance activities
• Develop and implement health & safety policies, risk assessments, and site inspections
• Promote a positive health & safety culture through training and engagement
• Provide guidance to teams and managers
• Prepare reports for senior management

Requirements

• Experience in quality, compliance, or health & safety roles
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems
• Relevant qualifications in Quality, Engineering, Health & Safety, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Willing to travel within the UK as needed
