Senior Storage Engineer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAN Engineer to support and deliver enterprise storage infrastructure using Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Cisco, Brocade, and HPE technologies.

Office base locations available: London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support high-availability SAN environments
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise storage platforms
• Lead storage and SAN migration projects
• Provide 3rd-level SAN support and root cause analysis
• Work closely with network, server, and application teams

To apply you should have the following skills & experience:

• 7+ years' SAN engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with Dell VMAX/PowerMax, Pure, and HPE
• Cisco & Brocade SAN Switches (VSANs, ISLs, NPIV, Logical Fabrics)
• SAN protocols: FC, iSCSI, FCoE
• Storage migration tools (eg Cirrus or equivalent)
• Experience with SRDF, TimeFinder, Unisphere, SYMCLI, DCNM, Brocade BNA
• Automation/Scripting (Python) desirable
• Certifications (Desirable) - Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Cisco CCNP, HPE ASE
