**National Business Development Manager – Global Construction Manufacturer**



We are currently recruiting for a global construction manufacturer who has been established for over 100 years and has a great reputation. This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a national role where the key objective is to build and develop relationships and drive national account strategy working closely with Tier 1 Contractors. You would also be responsible for managing project opportunities through early development phase.



Role:

You will be responsible for -

  • Identify and develop project opportunities through National Account clients and their regional offices
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with main contractors and key stakeholders
  • Work through main contractor pipelines, engaging with regional Supply Chain Managers and pre-construction teams
  • Assess and identify the most suitable opportunities aligned to the technical capability and strategic objectives
  • Identify potential new National Account opportunities and emerging client relationships
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tracking using internal trackers and CRM systems



Candidate:

The ideal candidate will –

  • Good understanding of the construction industry and pre-construction process
  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and methodical approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess opportunity suitability
  • Confidence engaging with senior client stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong administrative discipline
  • Competent CRM and data management capability
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to prepare professional written documentation and presentations



Package:

  • Basic Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (negotiable based on experience)
  • 20% Bonus
