Senior Associate/Principal, Client Services

Job description

Our client is a global investment firm that partners with institutional and private clients to design and manage diversified portfolios. Their approach combines access to leading asset managers with a strong focus on operational excellence and client service.

We’re looking for a motivated professional to join their Client Services team, with the level (Senior Associate or Principal) depending on experience. The role covers the full investment life cycle – from trade planning and execution to client servicing, reporting and operational oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Manage investment implementation across asset classes (mutual funds, ETFs, FX, fixed income, alternatives).
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, custodians and other stakeholders.
• Own a portfolio of complex clients and ensure timely, accurate trade execution and servicing.
• Support billing, reporting, account opening and compliance processes (FCA/KYC, data protection).
• Drive process improvements and risk controls; contribute to strategic projects.
• At Principal level: oversee Associates, review execution instructions, and lead external custodian/broker relationships.

Requirements:

• Senior Associate: 4–7 years’ experience in client services/investment operations.
• Principal: 7–10 years’ experience in financial services, ideally with execution oversight.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• High integrity, collaborative mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel/Outlook; familiarity with FCA/KYC requirements.
