Hybrid Contract • £650 per day • Inside IR35

Contract Overview

The company is seeking an experienced React Native Developer for a contract position to lead mobile development across iOS and Android. This is a first‑in‑role opportunity, offering significant ownership of the mobile product, including architecture, performance, and user experience. The contractor will take responsibility for guiding the app from technical direction through to delivery and release.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the mobile product from initial architecture to deployment.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver functional and cohesive features.
• Ensure high performance, accessibility, and a smooth, user‑centred mobile experience.
• Deliver iterative improvements quickly while upholding code quality.
• Establish and promote strong mobile engineering practices.
• Required Experience
• Proven experience developing and shipping production React Native applications for both iOS and Android.
• Comfort working across a modern engineering stack and adopting new tools when necessary.
• Strong focus on performance optimisation, accessibility, and user‑centred design.
• Ability to break down complex problems and make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Commitment to writing clear, maintainable, and well‑structured code.

Contract Details and Benefits

Day rate of £650, Inside IR35.
