Are you a Bid Manager with experience bidding into the Education sector? If so, then this role may be for you!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, employee-owned Facilities Management business with a strong reputation in cleaning and wider support services. Part of their continued growth is hiring a Bid Manager assigned to one of their key market sectors in Education, they are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join this small team to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of assigned bids, working closely with an experienced sales lead.

With a strong presence across the UK, the business continues to grow as a respected name within the facilities management sector. As Bid Manager, you will qualify, plan, write, compile and submit bids on time for the Education sector. Finding the right person for the business is key… looking for someone who thrives in chaos, and wants to get away from the corporate world by working for a personable, medium-sized business with great ambition for the future!

Key Duties:

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned bids: qualify, plan, write, compile and submit on time, then capture lessons learned
• Plan and control the bid, building the schedule, managing versions and holding contributors to internal gates and deadlines
• Draft, edit and tailor method statements, case studies, CVs and summaries to the question set and scoring guide, aligned to the agreed commercial position
• Run compliance control: maintain the compliance matrix and clarifications log; track mandatory attachments; complete all portal validations
• Provide research and insight to shape win themes and value propositions set by Sales/Head of Bid Management, and reflect these in your written responses

Experience Required

• Experience as a Bid Manager / Writer within the Education sector
• Background in FM would be desired – but not essential
• Ability to manage the full end-to-end bid process
• Remote working – willing to travel occasionally for team meetings or site visits
