Creative Account Manager

Genesis Recruitment Group is looking for a Creative Account Manager

Job description

We’re working with a well established branding and packaging agency looking to add a Creative Account Manager to their Leeds team.

This role sits firmly on the creative and client side of the process. It’s not a production or technical packaging role, but instead focuses on managing brand and design adaptation projects, supporting creative teams, and building strong client relationships.

If you enjoy working closely with designers, translating client needs into clear briefs, and helping creative work move smoothly from concept to delivery, this could be a great fit.

The role

You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships and helping drive projects across brand and packaging adaptation work. You’ll act as the link between clients and the creative team, ensuring briefs are clear, timelines are realistic, and the work stays aligned to both the brand and the strategy.

You’ll be involved in shaping briefs, guiding projects through the design process, and helping maintain momentum across multiple workstreams. The focus is on collaboration, clarity and delivery rather than technical production management.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing client relationships across branding and packaging adaptation projects
  • Translating client needs into clear, actionable creative briefs
  • Supporting designers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Keeping projects moving smoothly through internal processes
  • Ensuring work stays aligned to brand strategy and objectives
  • Leading client meetings, reviews and feedback sessions
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal teams

What they’re looking for

  • Experience in an agency environment working across branding, design or packaging
  • Understanding of creative processes and how design projects move from brief to delivery
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Comfortable working closely with designers and creative leads
  • Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple projects
  • Someone who enjoys being part of the creative process rather than sitting purely in production

The offer

  • Hybrid working from their Leeds studio
  • Opportunity to work with well known consumer brands
  • Collaborative, design-led agency environment
  • Clear scope for progression as the team grows
