£50,000 to £60,000 basic, £10,000 bonus

THE ROLE: As Sales Specialist, the successful candidate will be managing, winning and growing key relationships within pathology labs and procurement within NHS and private hospitals across your region. Typical customers will be Pathologists, Biomedical Scientists, EBME, Lab Managers and Technicians and purchasing / procurement. You will use your relationship building skills to form long term partnerships with customers to manage sales processes typically lasting 18 – 24 months and closing deals.

THE PERSON:

  • Must have a scientific degree e.g. Biomedical sciences
  • Experience of selling technical equipment to the NHS or labs within research, academia, biotechs etc
  • An outgoing personality with excellent relationship building skills
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 points and willingness to travel


THE PACKAGE

  • Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
  • OTE £10,000
  • Choice of car or car allowance of £660 per month
  • Benefits: 10% Pension, H/care, lunch allowance, 24 days’ holiday + stats (increasing to 30 with service) + full benefits


TERRITORY - The Sales Specialist will cover Yorkshire, the North East of England and Scotland, with visits to Scotland once every 6 weeks
