NPK Access Solution (UK) Ltd is the sole supplier of Durabase © matting, hiring and installing throughout the UK. Our delivery and mat system allows our customers to access sites no matter how wet, throughout the year. We have a wide ranging client base, in Rail & Construction and Power, Transmission and Distribution. Purpose of the Role:
This role is responsible for looking for leads, quoting, completing site surveys and providing a first-class service to customers and the business alike.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- A role model in encouraging and enforcing the culture of the company
- Looking for leads/new business – Asking probing questions on site
- Completion of the relevant survey documentation including drawings and routes, and work with Operations to execute.
- Creating and maintaining relationships on a site/project manager level
- Creating and following up on quotes
- Updating CRM
- Site audits – completing audits after the install to check quality of install and receive client feedback/same again during/after recovery
- Liaising with customers on surveys; requirements and technical points, helping provide
- timely and effective solutions aligned with the client’s needs.
- Always establish and maintain good responsive communication with the customer and any other end clients.
- Taking enquiries from customers and following up potential leads via the sales team
- Provide an outlet for the sales team on any technical requirements
- Liaising with the Operations Manager and Sales team to help ensure that contracted works, where possible, has been surveyed and are booked in for install/collection and are running smoothly.
- Ensuring company policy and on-site implementation of our Health and Safety and environmental procedures.
- Work closely with the operational and sales teams to ensure understanding of the key requirements of all projects and manage customer expectations to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Attend Sales, HSQE and Operational meeting if required by the Senior Team.
- Ensure sales/operational management are aware of any issues on site so that we can agree solutions.
- Be prepared to travel to various sites/offices, which may include long journeys and occasionally be prepared to stay away from home.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks and undertake projects as necessitated within the company.
Required Skills, Experience and Competencies
- It is essential that you have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and represent the company in a positive manner.
- Deep understanding of the product/service NPK provide and proficiency in CRM software.
- Ability to build long-term rapport with clients to foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Good problem-solving skills to address client challenges and mitigating objections
- Flexibility in adjusting strategies based on client needs.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Ability to work to set deadlines and with other colleagues on various projects to reach a common goal.
- Data Analysis & Forecasting: Using CRM tools (Dynamics) to analyze metrics and project revenue.
- Self-driven, results-oriented.
- Being able to remain calm under pressure.
- IT literate and confident in all Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with bespoke systems and Apps.
- Desirable SSTS
- Fully competent driver with a clean driving license.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience
