Role Overview

Whitbread PLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Marketing Specialist to support the growth of our brands across the UK and international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue, strengthen brand presence, and enhance customer engagement across our hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and manage key accounts and partnerships
  • Plan, execute, and optimise marketing campaigns across digital, offline, and B2B channels
  • Collaborate with brand, revenue, and operations teams to support occupancy and sales growth
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure strong ROI on campaigns
  • Support lead generation, conversion, and retention initiatives
  • Prepare performance reports, sales forecasts, and campaign evaluations for senior stakeholders
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a sales and marketing role, ideally within hospitality, travel, retail, or consumer services
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Professional marketing qualification (e.g. CIM) is desirable
