We are now in search for a Quality & Compliance Manager to join the team. You will lead the effective delivery of our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all products meet legal, HARA, safety, quality, and BRCGS standards. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Site General Manager and working closely with the wider leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Product Safety, Quality, and Compliance function, positively impacting product quality and process excellence.
- Ensure legislative compliance for product safety and quality and maintain an effective Quality Management System.
- Maintain BRCGS certification and oversee internal audits.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage relationships with third-party verification bodies.
- Oversee environmental monitoring, site hygiene, and cleaning systems to meet product safety standards.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of SOPs, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the site on product safety, quality, and compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support customer assurance activities, including product specifications and certificates of conformity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Food Safety & Quality Auditor Certification desirable.
- Experience in a BRCGS-accredited, multi-stage food or food packaging production environment
- Experience in a lean/continuous improvement environment.
