Quality Supervisor – Glasgow

Manufacturing organisation in Glasgow is looking for a proactive Quality Supervisor to oversee daily QC operations and raise quality standards across the production environment. If you’re a strong leader with a passion for quality excellence, this role offers the chance to make a real difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the day‑to‑day operations of the Quality Control department

Implementing and championing quality assurance processes across safety, production, and inspection

Mentoring and developing the QC team, setting clear goals and driving high performance

Managing sampling, inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation

Investigating quality issues and customer complaints, supporting effective corrective actions

Working alongside Production Supervisors to embed quality into all manufacturing stages

Conducting internal audits and supporting the shift from paper‑based to digital quality systems

Promoting safe working practices aligned with HSE guidelines

Overseeing calibration and maintenance of QC equipment

Supporting the development of testing facilities and updates to product drawings

What You’ll Bring

✔ Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience

✔ Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail

✔ High proficiency with Microsoft Office & Visio

✔ Skilled in measuring equipment with formal auditing training

✔ Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., BS EN)

✔ Experience in QC, administration, and manufacturing environments

✔ Familiarity with IQM, MacData, or Cimpac (advantageous but not essential)
