Risk & Assurance Manager | Lancashire | £55,000 | Permanent
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association based in Lancashire who are seeking an experience Risk & Assurance Manager to ensure compliant risk management and safeguard assets.
Key Duties
- Oversee and maintain the Group Risk Management Framework, ensuring it remains aligned to regulatory requirements
- Identify, assess, manage, monitor and report strategic and operational risks.
- Ensure management is clearly understood
- Lead the embedding of risk appetite, tolerance levels and escalation thresholds
- Ensuring informed decision‑making and performance discussions.
- Support the development of an organisational culture where risks and opportunities are clearly understood
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the design, mapping and monitoring of internal controls
- Validate assurance evidence
- Maintain the Group’s strategic risk register/s
- Oversee the outsourced internal audit programme
Person Specification
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
- Risk reporting
- Regulatory standards in the Public Sector
- Managing and maintain strategic risk processes
- Business continuity planning experience
