Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services to join a specialist Mission Critical team delivering complex data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

You’ll play a key role in designing resilient electrical systems that keep essential facilities operating 24/7.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership-focused role where you’ll shape technical outcomes, mentor engineers, and take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

What you’ll accomplish

• Lead the electrical design of major mission-critical / data centre projects
• Deliver fully coordinated electrical building services designs across all stages
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, helping grow team capability
• Act as a key technical contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders
• Oversee construction phase support and review technical submissions

What we’re looking for

• 4–7+ years’ experience in electrical engineering (building services)
• Strong experience delivering data centre or mission critical projects
• Expertise in HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, transformers, distribution, earthing and protection systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
