UK Remote | £90,000 – £120,000 | Growing CHECK Specialist Consultancy

Opus have partnered with a Penetration Testing specialist consultancy as they expand their CHECK testing team. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced CTL to step into a role with genuine influence, long‑term progression, and the ability to shape and own the organisation’s CHECK testing capability.

The Role

• Lead and develop the organisation’s CHECK testing function across infrastructure and application security
• Own and evolve the strategic direction of the CHECK practice
• Mentor, guide, and grow a team of talented CHECK testers and consultants
• Act as a senior technical authority on engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery
• Drive capability development, tooling, methodologies, and service maturity
• Work closely with leadership to influence business direction and service expansion
• Represent the consultancy as a trusted expert to clients, partners, and industry bodies
• This is a leadership role with both strategic and hands‑on elements, offering autonomy and the chance to build something exceptional.

• Dual CHECK Team Leader (CTL) status is essential
• Strong background in infrastructure and application penetration testing
• Ability to define and execute strategy for a technical function
