Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Pontefract area.

Location: Pontefract

Hours: 4 day working week rotation.

Week 1 – Monday to Thursday - 2pm – 12am

Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday – 6am – 4pm

Week 3 – Monday to Thursday - 5am – 3pm

Week 4 – Tuesday to Friday – 6am – 4pm

Salary - £44,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and fault find on electrical systems (including PLCs where possible).
• Build an effective working relationship with Engineers and Management Teams.
• Develop and contribute in preventative maintenance plans for equipment to ensure that breakdowns are minimised.
• Contribute to the installing and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain safe working practices
• Support continuous improvement projects and engineering developments on site

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Maintenance as a minimum
• Proven experience in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments
• Strong background in PPMs and breakdown response
• Experience of fault finding on PLCs (desirable)
