Energy trading firm is looking to hire a Senior Front Office Business Analyst for a rolling 6-month contract.

Paying £700 - £750 per day (inside IR35).

The Senior Business Analyst will work directly with derivatives traders and a small, high-performing IT team to deliver analytical tooling and enhancements to a front-office trading desk. This is a highly business-facing role, engaging with stakeholders up to C-suite level, defining requirements, brokering decisions and ensuring solutions are delivered at pace. The team releases multiple times per week, so this role would suit someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving, agile trading environment with evolving priorities.

Experience required:

• Senior stakeholder engagement within front-office trading
• Strong SQL and good working knowledge of Python (or similar language)
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Comfortable working alongside quantitative/mathematical models
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle; ETRM exposure highly desirable
• Experience supporting UAT and providing third-line support to trading desks
• Proven delivery within Agile environments
