Job description
We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join a specialist engineering manufacturer based in Clydebank.
The business design and manufacture industrial systems used Globally. Due to continued project wins & Growth, they are strengthening their Controls team.
This role is suited to an engineer who wants ownership.
The Role
- Write PLC programs from scratch
- Develop control logic and HMI systems
- Produce electrical and instrumentation designs
- Configure industrial communications networks
- Conduct in-house testing and FAT
- Travel to site for commissioning
- Work directly with customers during project delivery
The Person
- Experience with Siemens PLCs preferred (others considered)
- Proven ability to develop PLC applications independently
- Comfortable working both in-office and on-site
- Strong communication skills
- Degree or relevant engineering qualification desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel overseas when required
Hybrid working available after probation. Flexi-hours structure in place.
