Job description
66kV SAP – Offshore Wind - 2/2rotation (subject to change to 3/3) - ASAP start - Day rate, outside IR35 - 12 month initial contract
I’m looking for experienced 66kV Senior Authorised Persons to support a major offshore wind development during construction & commissioning. You will be supporting offshore converter stations and WTG assets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and promote the highest standards of health & safety
- Prepare, issue and cancel safety documentation
- Develop and implement switching schedules
- Perform switching, isolation and earthing duties
- Conduct pre-energisation inspections
- Carry out HV switchgear testing and basic protection testing
- Produce and review RAMS and maintenance plans
- Deliver planned and reactive HV maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on HV plant
- Respond to site outages and emergency scenarios
- Liaise closely with Lead SAPs and Electrical Works Coordinators
- Work offshore on SOV or Jack-up vessels during rotations
Requirements:
- WTG experience
- 66kV experience (33kV will be considered if multi-feed)
- Full GWO
- OEUK medical
- Chester step
Logistics:
- 2/2 rotation (subject to change to 3/3)
- ASAP start
- 12 month contract
- Day rate, outside IR35
- SOV, with some CTV work
