Estimator - Facades

Location: Leicester

I am working with a reputable building envelope contractor seeking an Estimator to join their commercial team due to sustained growth.

They are open to:

• An experienced façade / cladding estimator
• OR
• A candidate with transferable estimating experience from a related construction discipline who can be developed

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade and remediation projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documents
• Producing take-offs and BOQs
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
• Supporting tender submissions
• Working closely with technical and delivery teams

For experienced façade estimators, there may be flexibility on hybrid working. For developing candidates, this role will require full-time office attendance initially.

Ideal Background (Option 1 – Experienced)

• Proven estimating experience within cladding / EWI / façade systems
• Strong knowledge of remediation projects
• Ability to price complex envelope packages
• Understanding of fire compliance upgrades

Ideal Background (Option 2 – Transferable Skills)

• Estimating background in roofing, drylining, curtain walling, external works or similar
• Strong numerical and commercial acumen
• Keen to specialise in façade remediation
