Data Scientist - Hybrid (London) - Up to £70k - Permanent
We are supporting a fast-growing, consumer-focused organisation that is investing heavily in data, machine learning, and AI to drive commercial performance and operational excellence. They are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded data professional to lead end-to-end model development.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a data science, machine learning, or similar role
- Strong Python (including PySpark) and SQL skills for data analysis, feature engineering, and modelling
- Experience building and deploying end-to-end predictive models from scoping through validation and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring ML models within a cloud environment (Azure experience highly desirable)
- Experience building CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions) and supporting robust MLOps practices
Responsibilities:
- Lead data analysis and predictive modelling initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, pricing, and engagement
- Extract, prepare, and process data from multiple sources to create high-quality, model-ready datasets
- Conduct exploratory analysis, apply statistical techniques, and quantify business impact
- Communicate model insights, limitations, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
