Full Stack Engineer

London / Hybrid | 4 Days Onsite

FTC £70,000 - £85,000


Harrington Starr has partnered with a leading financial services firm who are undergoing a major transformation of its internal technology landscape, modernising a suite of business-critical applications used across front office, compliance and operations teams.


They are now looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their Technology function and play a key role in migrating legacy SharePoint systems into a modern application portal built with contemporary web technologies. This is a high-impact role working closely with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build full stack applications using C#, SQL Server and React
  • Support and maintain live SharePoint applications during the transition phase
  • Work within agile sprint cycles to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical designs
  • Ensure compliance with cyber security, data protection and regulatory standards
  • Act as a technical escalation point within the Technology team
  • Produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer to BAU teams
  • Work with third-party vendors where required


Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience building applications with C#, SQL and React
  • 2+ years’ experience developing or supporting SharePoint systems
  • Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
  • Exposure to regulated industries (financial services preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to join a highly visible programme of work within a regulated financial environment. You’ll be responsible for redesigning and rebuilding core internal applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure and aligned with long-term business needs.


You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle — from requirements gathering and system design through to development, deployment and handover into support.
