Job description

To work within the design team delivering and checking Safety System design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.

Essential:

• Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
• Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
• Providing support to Commissioning
• Willingness to support early career Engineers

Desirable:

• Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover.
• Working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards.
• Evidence of applying a pragmatic approach to the delivery of new/modified safety requirements on existing systems.
