The role

• Lead operations across 6 production sites as part of the senior leadership team
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in line with UK legislation and recognised management systems (COMAH, COSHH, PSSR, ISO)
• Champion a strong safety culture with a clear focus on zero incidents
• Oversee maintenance strategies to ensure plant reliability, quality, and output targets
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost control
• Lead change initiatives across safety, service, quality, and growth
• Manage budgets, performance, and a significant CAPEX programme

About you

• Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong background in industrial/gas / Chemical production environments
• Proven multi-site operations leadership experience
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and process safety
• Confident people leader, comfortable in unionised environments
• Commercially astute with experience delivering CAPEX and productivity improvement
