Electrical Maintenance Specialist
Field Based
£48,000–£52,000 + vehicle and excellent benefits.
A leading global fuel storage and energy infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Electrical Support Specialist to provide technical expertise across multiple operational sites in the UK & Ireland.
This is a senior technical role supporting maintenance teams with electrical, control and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and safe plant operation within high-hazard industrial environments.
The Role You will:
- Provide expert support for electrical, PLC, SCADA and instrumentation systems
- Lead fault finding, repairs, and root cause analysis activities
- Support safe systems of work and oversee contractor activities
- Develop and standardise maintenance procedures across multiple sites
- Manage critical spares and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as subject matter expert for electrical & control systems
About You
- Time-served Electrical Technician with 5+ years’ industrial maintenance experience
- Qualified to CompEx, 2394/2395 and 18th Edition (BS7671)
- Strong background in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemical or COMAH environments
- Experienced in electrical isolations, fault finding, and CMMS systems (e.g. Maximo)
- Self-motivated, calm under pressure, and confident communicating at all levels
Desirable: HNC/HND, IOSH or NEBOSH certification, COMAH Upper Tier site experience.
