Job description
Overview:
A global semiconductor company is seeking a Principal GPU HW Design Engineer to design and optimise next-generation graphics silicon. You’ll work across RTL and microarchitecture, collaborating with design, verification, and validation teams to deliver high-performance, power-efficient hardware.
Key responsibilities
- Define microarchitecture specs and implement RTL (SystemVerilog) at IP/SoC level
- Analyse and optimise circuits for performance, power, and area
- Debug designs, support reviews, and improve design environments
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practice
Requirements
- Strong digital IC design and RTL experience
- ASIC/FPGA tool expertise
- Solid optimisation and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
GPU/CPU architecture knowledge, P&R exposure, scripting (Python/TCL), or UVM/verification experience.
