BIM Technician

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate detailed MEP models in Revit within a tunnelling/infrastructure environment
• Manage federated models and ensure alignment across disciplines (Civil, Structural, MEP)
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues
• Maintain BIM standards in line with the project BIM Execution Plan and ISO 19650 principles
• Produce 2D drawings, schedules, and technical documentation from Revit models
• Attend coordination meetings and liaise with designers, subcontractors, and site teams
• Support construction teams with model-based information and technical queries
• Ensure accurate model data for asset information and handover requirements

Essential Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Revit (MEP)
• Proven experience coordinating MEP services on infrastructure or tunnelling projects
• Experience using clash detection software
• Understanding of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 workflows
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Desirable

• Experience on large-scale civil engineering or underground projects
• Knowledge of tunnel ventilation, drainage, pumping, or specialist MEP systems
• Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE platforms)
