JOB – Field Service Engineer

LOCATION – Manchester

TERM – Permanent

SALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist supplier of products and machinery. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
• strong electrical engineering knowledge/background with some mechanical
• Ideally some background working with CNC machinery
• Experience servicing, maintaining and testing cnc machinery
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
• Team player who is passionate about their work
• Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
• Holds a full UK driving licence

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

• Travelling to customer sites to deliver and service machinery
• Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and repair
• Training customers on how to use their machinery
• Electrical servicing with some mechanical elements
• Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
• Developing strong relationships with customers
• Company car
