Structural Revit Technician

Vector Partners Group is looking for a Structural Revit Technician

Job description

About the company

The client is an established engineering consultancy delivering high-quality structural solutions across the commercial and industrial sectors. With a collaborative, team-driven culture and a strong pipeline of exciting projects, they offer a supportive environment where technical excellence is genuinely valued and rewarded.

The Role

We are working with our client to recruit an experienced Structural Engineering Revit Technician to join their growing team. This is a mid-level position suited to a technically strong individual with a solid background in structural engineering across both commercial and industrial project types.

You will play a key role within a busy, project-driven team — producing accurate structural drawings and BIM models to a high standard, working collaboratively with engineers and project managers, and managing your workload effectively across multiple concurrent projects. The role is hybrid, with three days in the Manchester office and two days working from home, plus a half day on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed structural drawings and Revit models across industrial and commercial projects
  • Work as part of a close-knit engineering team, contributing to BIM coordination and design deliverables
  • Manage your own workload and deliver to programme and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with structural engineers and project leads throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain and develop Revit standards, templates, and workflows

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Revit Technician within a structural engineering environment
  • Demonstrable experience across both commercial and industrial project types
  • High proficiency in Autodesk Revit — structural experience essential (not architectural)
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality outputs
  • Experience with Navisworks and knowledge of UK structural codes (BS/Eurocode) would be advantageous

  • Compensation & Benefits

    • £45,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience
    • Performance-based bonus scheme tied to company targets
    • Health benefits
    • Hybrid working — 3 days in office, 2 days from home, half day Fridays
    • Relocation assistance considered for the right candidate

    Interview Process

Two-stage interview process — an initial interview (face-to-face preferred) followed by a second face-to-face interview. Successful candidates can expect a decision within days of the final interview.
