We are working with a specialist provider of electrical engineering, construction, and maintenance solutions, delivering high quality services across renewable energy generation and high voltage power networks nationwide.

My client is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Power Engineering (or equivalent) to support major energy and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

• Commissioning and working on electrical systems operating at voltages from 11kV up to 132kV
• Conducting switchgear inspection, testing, and maintenance
• Performing transformer testing, commissioning, and fault finding
• Supporting installation and ongoing maintenance of HV infrastructure
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Power Engineering (or recognised equivalent Level 3 qualification)
• Hands-on experience in switchgear and transformer testing
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems (11kV–132kV)
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
