Plant Manager - Chemicals

London (Site Based)

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production plant and a multidisciplinary team. They should be able to analyse each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production at the plant facilities
• Develop, implement and continuously improve production processes and SOPs
• Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule and stock
• Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
• Previous work experience within a chemical, bulk chemical or commodity chemical manufacturing environment (or related field)
• 10+ years of experience in a similar Operations or Plant Management role
• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety, regulatory compliance
• Demonstrate a proven ability to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects
