Area Manager – “fast paced leisure venue”

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

Location South Coast / South Region

Ready to take the wheel of something truly exciting? I am looking for an energetic Area Manager to lead a fast-paced, fun-filled leisure business along the South Coast! If you thrive on driving success, enjoy building great teams, and love creating unforgettable guest experiences, this role will put you right in the fast lane.

About the Role

You’ll oversee a portfolio of four buzzing venues (growing to six once you’ve hit top speed), supporting passionate managers and their teams to deliver amazing experiences every time. With activities ranging from high-octane attractions to laid-back social fun, no two days are ever the same!

Role

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Heads of Department.
• Keep performance on track with strategic plans, performance reviews, and one-to-one coaching.
• Champion top-tier guest experiences and consistent operational excellence.
• Roll out initiatives, training, and improvements in partnership with our central support team.
• Drive growth across memberships, food & drink, and retail opportunities.
• Visit each site regularly to ensure first-class standards, safety, and team engagement.
• Oversee people management, from rota and wage control to handling complex HR issues.
• Be the go-to person for any guest feedback or service challenges.
• Support the delivery of alternate education programmes and instructor performance.

About You

• A proven leader with multi-site management experience in leisure, hospitality, or retail.
• A natural motivator who knows how to bring out the best in others.
• Obsessed with high standards, operational detail, and consistent results.
• Confident, proactive, and passionate about delivering great service.
• Happy to travel across the South Coast to keep your sites connected and thriving.
