Business Development Executive - Team Lead
London (Hybrid)
£70k+ (DOE)
Flourish are delighted to partner with an exceptional global design and planning platform (SaaS) that empowers businesses to transform its workforce who are on the hunt for a Business Development Executive (BDE) Team Lead. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands‑on new business generation with leadership responsibilities across international markets. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom, with offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
You’ll split your time approximately 50/50 between driving your own outbound sales performance and leading a growing team of BDEs across EMEA and APAC. This role is perfect for a high‑performing BDE ready to step into leadership while still owning personal results.
Key Responsibilities 50% – Individual Contributor (New Business Development)
- Work closely with an assigned Account Executive to build qualified pipeline within a defined industry vertical.
- Own outbound prospecting strategy and execution across phone, email, LinkedIn, and SMS.
- Identify and engage senior stakeholders within enterprise organisations.
- Book high‑quality meetings that convert into meaningful pipeline and revenue.
- Maintain accurate tracking and pipeline hygiene within Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
- Consistently hit or exceed activity and pipeline targets.
50% – Team Lead (Global BDE Enablement & Coaching) Onboarding & Ramp-Up
- Lead onboarding and accelerated ramp for new BDE hires across EMEA and APAC.
- Act as primary mentor and first-line support for new team members.
- Ensure quick adoption of tools, processes, and messaging.
Coaching & Performance Management
- Hold weekly 1:1 coaching sessions with new BDEs.
- Track and report on performance metrics including:
- Call volumes
- Email sends
- LinkedIn outreach
- SMS activity
- Meetings booked & conversion rates
- Provide structured feedback and insights to leadership.
Messaging & Outreach Excellence
- Own and refine outbound sequences and messaging.
- Optimise performance using data-backed insights.
- Share best practices and drive consistent standards across the global team.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Deliver regular performance updates to the Director of Business Development.
- Contribute to building scalable processes to support global team growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven success in enterprise-level outbound business development.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior sales talent.
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong data-driven mindset with CRM and sales engagement tool experience.
- Able to balance personal performance with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience working across global markets is a strong plus.
