With an expanding pipeline across renewables, EV charging and large-scale developments, they are looking to strengthen their commercial function.
The Opportunity
This is a strategic, relationship-led role focused on winning high-value, project-based schemes, often £1m+.
You will play a key role in expanding market share across ICP, utilities and infrastructure markets, positioning the business early in project lifecycles and building long-term partnerships.
There is genuine autonomy to shape territory strategy and target accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and grow pipeline across ICP, contestable connections and wider infrastructure projects
- Build relationships with developers, EPCs, contractors, consultants and utility stakeholders
- Identify projects early and influence specifications
- Lead new business conversations from first contact through to award
- Support tender processes and commercial negotiations
- Maintain structured pipeline management and forecasting
- Represent the business at industry events and networking forums
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging project opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in new business development
- Experience selling into one or more of:
- ICP / DNO / IDNO
- Utilities
- Renewables (solar, wind, BESS)
- EV charging infrastructure
- EPC / civils / project-led contracting
- Understanding of longer sales cycles and tender-led environments
- Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders
- Commercially astute and structured in approach
- Willingness to travel across the UK
