The Opportunity

This is a strategic, relationship-led role focused on winning high-value, project-based schemes, often £1m+.

You will play a key role in expanding market share across ICP, utilities and infrastructure markets, positioning the business early in project lifecycles and building long-term partnerships.

There is genuine autonomy to shape territory strategy and target accounts.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and grow pipeline across ICP, contestable connections and wider infrastructure projects
  • Build relationships with developers, EPCs, contractors, consultants and utility stakeholders
  • Identify projects early and influence specifications
  • Lead new business conversations from first contact through to award
  • Support tender processes and commercial negotiations
  • Maintain structured pipeline management and forecasting
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking forums
  • Monitor competitor activity and emerging project opportunities


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Experience selling into one or more of:
  • ICP / DNO / IDNO
  • Utilities
  • Renewables (solar, wind, BESS)
  • EV charging infrastructure
  • EPC / civils / project-led contracting
  • Understanding of longer sales cycles and tender-led environments
  • Ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Commercially astute and structured in approach
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
