Sales & Events Executive

Open House London Ltd is looking for a Sales & Events Executive

Job description

Sales & Events Executive

Across The Italian Greyhound, The Broadcaster & The Lighterman

£40,000-42,000 (including service charge)

This is an on-site role working across our London locations.

We’re looking for a Sales & Events Executive to join our growing sales team, someone organised, commercially curious, and excited to learn how exceptional events are built from the inside out. Working across The Italian Greyhound, The Broadcaster and The Lighterman, you’ll support our Sales & Events Managers and report into our Head of Sales & Events.

This is a foundational role within the team, designed for someone who wants to develop their sales expertise while gaining exposure to multi-site event coordination in a quality-led hospitality group. You won’t be expected to lead the department, but you will be trusted with detail, accuracy and guest communication that directly supports revenue performance and event delivery.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Supporting Pre-Booked Sales

  • Assisting the Sales & Events Managers in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance guest experiences through thoughtful add-ons and menu guidance.
  • Supporting revenue growth through strong organisation and follow-through.

Coordinating Bookings with Precision

  • Managing deposits, contracts and payment processes accurately.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and reliable reservation records across systems.
  • Ensuring event briefs are detailed and clearly communicated to operational teams.

Guest Communication

  • Responding to enquiries with warmth and clarity.
  • Providing knowledgeable guidance on menus, spaces and event formats.
  • Supporting the guest journey from first contact through to final confirmation.

Cross-Group Support

  • Working across three distinct venues, learning their individual character and event offer.
  • Supporting smooth internal communication between sales and operations.
  • Assisting with pre- and post-event administration and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

You may already have worked in reservations, events, reception, or a similar administrative role, OR be ready to step into your first dedicated sales position.

Highly Organised

You enjoy structure, detail and keeping multiple timelines on track.

Commercially Curious

You’re interested in understanding how bookings translate into business performance.

Clear & Professional Communicator

Confident in written communication and comfortable speaking with guests and internal teams.

Eager to Develop

This role is a stepping stone, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow within a sales & events career pathway.

What You’ll Gain

  • Exposure to multi-site hospitality sales
  • Structured development within a growing Sales & Events function
  • Direct mentorship from experienced Sales & Events Managers and our Head of Sales
  • A clear pathway to progress within the team

The Perks

  • Group dining discounts across our venues
  • Staff meals & refreshments during shifts
  • Access to Stream for financial flexibility
  • Extra holiday; earn an additional day per year after your first year, up to 5 years
