BDR Manager - Software Dev

London Based: 3 days hybrid

Salary: DOE (70k+)

Ready to lead, develop, and scale a high‑performing Business Development team inside one of the fastest‑growing software companies in the market? As the BDR Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the business from £40m toward that £100m mark, owning both outbound pipeline creation and the development of emerging talent across global markets.


You’ll manage a team of four Business Development Executives while still operating as an individual contributor - partnering with an Account Executive to generate high‑quality enterprise pipeline. If you’re energised by coaching, building repeatable sales processes, and creating a world‑class outbound function, this role offers the perfect blend of leadership and strategic impact.


30% – Individual Contributor (Enterprise New Business Development)

  • Partner with an assigned Account Executive to generate qualified enterprise pipeline.
  • Own outbound prospecting strategy across phone, email, LinkedIn, and SMS.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture senior stakeholders across major global enterprises.
  • Book high‑quality meetings that consistently convert into revenue.
  • Maintain excellent Salesforce hygiene and accurate forecasting.
  • Hit and exceed individual activity and pipeline targets.


70% – Team Leadership (BDE Coaching & Enablement) Onboarding & Ramp

  • Lead onboarding and fast‑track ramp for new hires in the London office.
  • Act as the primary mentor and first point of contact for new team members.
  • Ensure fast adoption of tools, processes, messaging, and outbound best practices.


Coaching & Performance Management

  • Run weekly 1:1 coaching sessions with BDRs.
  • Track and report on KPIs including:
  • Calls/dials
  • Emails
  • LinkedIn touches
  • SMS outreach
  • Meetings booked & conversion metrics
  • Provide structured feedback and collaborate with leadership on improvement plans.


What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in enterprise outbound business development or SDR/BDR leadership.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or managing junior sales talent.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a structured approach to leadership.
  • A data‑driven mindset - confident using CRM and sales engagement tools.
