Wine Sales Manager – Leading Wine Importer – Midlands – Up to £40,000 plus car allowance and commission


This company is an established and well-known Wine Importer who is expanding their team to drive sales across both the On and Off trade. This Importer has a fantastic range of organic wines and liquors, with a fantastic reputation on the trade and a significant account base.


We are looking for a Wine Sales Manager to head up the new business for the company. This role will involve working across both the On & Off trade with a focus on commercial wins, relationship building, negotiations and pricing management. The Wine Sales Manager will head up the region and grow the portfolio across the trade.


This role is perfect for a Wine Salesperson who has experience winning new business and securing listings, along with a passion for tastings, menu development and personal growth.

Wine Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the beverage industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to promote the Wine range.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, distribution, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and product excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network.


The Ideal Wine Sales Manager candidate:

  • Previous experience working in Wine along with a proven track record in sales across the On and Off trade.
  • Be a self-starter who is driven to succeed – a strong connection and network would be preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering growth in the drinks industry.
  • A customer-oriented approach to account management which aims to exceed expectations.
  • A strong and assertive style to self-management and motivation.
  • Able to negotiate, delivery training and competently explain a alcoholic product range
  • Must be able to drive
