ABOUT YOUR ROLE
You will accelerate the commercial growth of our business.
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team at TRIVER, the best in class automated cash flow financing provider helping UK small businesses unlock working capital with speed and simplicity. In this role, you'll focus on originating new business through broker relationships, helping more small businesses access flexible invoice finance solutions. You’ll play a key role in expanding our reach, enhancing broker engagement, and building long-term partnerships that drive mutual growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage a portfolio of commercial finance brokers and introducers across the UK
- Proactively identify and onboard new broker relationships to grow deal flow
- Build strong, long-term relationships with brokers and partners to grow our pipeline
- Team up with Product, Customer Support, Sales and Risk to ensure a smooth and positive experience for both partners and their clients
- Represent the business at broker events, roadshows, and industry expos (e.g. NACFB Expo)
- Maintain accurate records of activity in CRM and provide reporting on pipeline and performance
- Provide feedback from the market to improve product, pricing, and service levels
- Be part of shaping our growing business and team as we scale
Required experience:
- 3+ years proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnership roles — preferably in fintech, commercial lending, or financial services.
- Demonstrable success in growing intermediary channels (brokers, introducers, or advisers).
- Track record of hitting or exceeding commercial KPIs (e.g. Deal volume, revenue targets).
- Experience managing a pipeline via CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce).
Nice to have:
- Strong broker network and understanding of the UK intermediary landscape
- Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech environment.
- Familiarity with small business working capital needs and lending products (e.g.
- invoice finance, working capital, embedded credit) is a strong plus.
