Our client is a leading main contractor specialising in industrial and logistics developments. With a strong national presence, they deliver high-value projects ranging from £20m to £150m. Office based in Solihull and London, with involvement in projects across the Northampton Area.

Senior Commercial Manager – Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of multiple industrial and logistics projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across projects valued £20m–£150m.
• Manage and mentor commercial teams, ensuring best practice and consistency across projects.
• Negotiate and administer contracts, including subcontractor procurement and commercial agreements.
• Manage risk, value engineering, variations, and change control to protect project margins.
• Work closely with project directors, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Senior Commercial Manager – Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with a main contractor.
• Strong background in industrial and/or logistics construction projects.
• Experience managing large-scale projects valued £20m+.
• Excellent contractual knowledge (e.g. JCT / NEC).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Happy to travel nationally to projects when required.

Senior Commercial Manager – Benefits
