I am hiring for Data Governance Business Analyst - (BCBS 239/Alation/Open Lineage/Technical Support/Troubleshooting/Issue resolution/Tracking & Reporting/Banking/Fintech)
Location: Glasgow, UK (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
Job Description:
- Gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements aligned with Data Governance and BCBS 239 regulatory expectations.
- Support implementation of Data Quality frameworks, Data Lineage, and governance controls across business units and technology teams.
- Engage with CIO teams, business functions, and application owners to provide technical support, issue resolution, and governance guidance.
- Track data governance initiatives, monitor progress, and produce stakeholder reporting and status updates.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams while managing escalations and ensuring strong stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to tooling adoption such as Alation or Open Lineage to improve metadata, lineage visibility, and governance processes.
